Publisher Square Enix and developer B.B. Studio debuted 25 minutes of direct-feed Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline gameplay during the game’s pre-launch live stream special.
During the live gameplay segment, the following tidbits of information were confirmed:
- “Draconian Quest” settings are available at the start of the game.
- There are nine “Adventure Log” save slots.
- If a user has save data in which the opening part of the story has already been cleared, you can skip the village of Tenton scenario and start the game from when you are reincarnated into one of the five races.
- Event scenes can be skipped by holding down the Square button (on PlayStation controllers).
