Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of June 26, 2023 to July 2, 2023.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 55,339 retail copies sold. It was followed by Final Fantasy XVI, which moved an additional 37,763 retail copies in its second week.
On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 106,214 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 49,294 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,093 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 971 units.
