Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC character Lucilius and Character Pass Part 1 announced

Due out in mid-January 2024.

Cygames has announced Lucilius (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese and Sean Chiplock in English) as the first of six “Character Pass Part 1” downloadable content characters for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. He will launch in mid-January 2024.

Lucilius will initially appear in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising as a boss character before he makes his playable debut.

After Lucilius, the Character Pass Part 1 characters release schedule is as follows:

Mid-January – Lucilius
Late February – Character #2
April – Character #3
May – Character #4
Summer – Character #5
Fall – Character #6

Additionally, Cygames announced it will release the “Umamusume: Pretty Derby Premium Avatar Set” on December 14 for $9.99, which adds Special Week, Tokai Teio, Silence Suzuka, and Mejiro McQueen from Umamusume: Pretty Derby as Premium Avatars. It also includes the exclusive “Carrot Blade” weapon skin for use in “Grand Bruise Legends!”

Cygames also announced the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising post-launch updates schedule:

The “Black Butterfly” costume for Narmaya was also shown. It will be available as a Battle Pass reward shortly after the game’s release. “We have a lot of costumes planned for a lot of characters, so please don’t miss out,” creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara said.
